The team that is behind building The Incredible Roller Coaster on Mars has a plethora of distinct qualities that will help create the efficiency, creativity, and uniqueness of the roller coaster. The coaster must meet the standards set by SpaceX and Disney Hollywood Studios. By researching, brainstorming, and using decision matrices we will determine key decision points, such as materials used, calculations and functions used, which will be used to create our blueprint, not to mention including all calculus involved in optimizing coaster reliability and the physics involved in ensuring prototype is reliable and runs consistently, regardless of atmosphere conditions on Mars (and in the library). We will use a rocket to ship all the materials and people to build the coaster. However, we still need to determine how we will leave the Earth’s atmosphere and travel beyond the orbit of Earth and into Mars atmosphere. In order to build a successful roller coaster we must incorporate and connect physics, calculus, engineering, and aerospace engineering. We need to devise a transportation plan that will transport all materials needed to construct the roller coaster. 17īy incorporating all of our skills, together we must construct a roller coaster that will function on Mars and find an area on Mars where we could possibly build our coaster.
